One day at a time.
This Blog has become a number of things…me sharing everything I’ve learned over my 26+ years as a runner…
But, it’s also a it’s also a diary of my getting better and back to where I once was….704 days ago….November 26th 2019.

One fall, one concussion…one fractured skull…so now, 704 days in, almost 2 years.
As I’ve posted, the reverbations are still rattling along my life….morning headaches, and a sore head whenever I push beyond what the head says is okay……some nausea, so that struggle continues.
I still do not feel comfortable enough to run with others…
I keep trying to set goals….it seems every month this year I’ve set a date to attempt a half marathon distance, or a virtual half marathon, and every month has gone by without that accomplishment…but the desire is still there to move on.
I do have a couple of long term goals…and the plan is to just plan this winter to build towards the BMO Half Marathon in Vancouver on May 1st in 2022..or 183 days away…so, one day at a time…
And a Olympic Distance Triathlon at the end of May 2022…
As I said a few posts back that I was going to catalogue my past races and runs..I’ll do that as well as long my progress towards 2022……
Today was okay….a short spin indoors on the bike….and a run is planned for tomorrow….so, onward, upward…..one day at a time
