so this is usually how it goes….I look at my week, usually a blank page and plan…..
first things first….., well, the days of the upcoming week…and I fill in those spots that can’t change…like, work, appointments…you know those life moments that are more important than life?

now…..what do I want to do….running is important, I’m sort of training for a half marathon in May, a full marathon in August……..and yeah, along with one of my co-workers, I’ve commited to trying to run for 7 days in a row, so….add that and include that with the schedule..

now, I’m still a triathlete at heart, so add swimming and spinning to the schedule…..and then start adding and subtracting…giving myself time to rest and recover…and yeah, to eat…..
I then to put everything down in ink, and the next 8 days are set…

it’s not really set in stone….one thing abot life, it always changes…and this concussion recovery still rules everything….and oops, forgot, I have an MD appointment next Thursday, so improvising goes day today…with an appointment at, I think early, I should still have time to run, maybe swim….and spin in the afternoon and evening…if not, the spin may be punted, but as long as the run stands, I should be okay….
Scheduling and working with a training schedule is always a challenge, and for me has always been a challenge…
I’ve worked odd shifts, weekends, evenings…and even now, I still do…….I can’t always plan for speed or hill training on Wednesdays, and long run Sundays, probably, but never always…so that’s why you get the pen and paper out, and start figuring……and as long as the rest, recovery and everything else pans out…good to go, and yes, you have to plan for life…family time, and you time….
so it’s Saturday night….now to plan to wake up after, yes, sleep and recovery….and begin….
