Today, that was me, but I finally got outside and run…..a slow 6K, but run and done…
It was an all day convince myself thing…..got up, had originally planned for another 5:30 in the morning run, but didn’t happen…so slept until 7:30, and then went to work…selling shoes and working the store, and then the end of my shift ended, at 12:30, I had my run gear was with me….two of my co-workers came into work, I had really no excuses…so, threw on my gear…and, well ran…
My Saucony long sleeve, the new On tights, an older New Balance jacket I got at a 1/2 marathon years ago…and my handy dandy Saucony Peregrine Ice + and went….

Right at the start I thought/wondered/realized that once you start moving, just how good and effortless this stuff all feels.
Yes I was tired, hadn’t really eaten anything, didn’t for sure had a route planned, but I did sort of..and went….
It’s a route I know well, that involves pretty much climbing up hill for most of the first half…not a huge gain, but consistant…some trail, some sidewalk…..and not boring, but also something where I can shut my brain off and just go…and only 3 street crossings…

It just looked colder than it was….construction had a bit to do with where I ended up going….it’s a route I love…
Tomrrow, I’m at home most of the day…..an evening run planned……may take my crew on the same route. some will know it, others not….so looking forward to that….I’ve gotta start taking more pictures…
