yep, my fat face………

A normal Tuesday…..a good morning at the store. love selling shoes and being at the store…..customers…talked cross country skiing, getting studded tires for my mountain bike…..made a few people happy, handing out advise…..my happy place..

Then an easy 5K run…..had planned on something really short..but all good….

found this tree someone’s decorated.

I know it’s dedicated to someone……but brightens up the run…

I threw in a couple of hills in it, but it felt okay….oddly enough it’s winter, but because it’s been winter, winter shoes were great, but, well, it;s been warm, there’s not much in the way of snow and ice, so bare pavement and asphalt, the Saucony Peregrine Ice+ just do not have the cushioning I need…so is it time for a change?

Yes, I missed a race yesterday……the second event of the year, and I bailed on a bib……so, next chance is St. Patrick’s Day…a 10K….so time to focus and get over this race phobia……

Tomorrow, Wednesday……a family time day…but, a spin on the bike trainer in the morning, a run in the evening……races yes, and maybe a triathlon or two in 2023?

And yeah, dad’s still in the hospital, sounds like he may be going for homecare at home….at least no open heart surgery, but I’m not sure this is the best……..the adventure continues…
