Sunday Run Strength Coffee.

An early morning.

I seem to have lost one of my run clubs…sort of. Apparently because I took a break since the start 2023, well, because life was getting unsettled…..so that was fine…

Things are still up in the air, but I seem to be finding out how to create a regular schedule….but I guess now I’m third up, two others have taken over…which s fine, I still have that free gym membership which is huge for me, and as I’ve learned throughout my life, everything changes……always.

And an opportunity, rather than waiting all morning to start my run at 8:30, I was able to get to the gym, go for a 12K run….my own pace, made up a route as I went along…..and felt okay…

It was a good run…I’m still aiming at that half marathon in Vancouver in May…the BMO, and 12K was on today’s schedule so all good……..with my dad in and out of hospitals who knows?…But I have to look forward as if it’ll happen…keep that focus.

I’m struggling thinking about hill repeats, because, well, I have two sprint triathlons coming up in June and August…so I need to swim and bike/spin….but I have to keep those runs done, hill repeats and speed training….how do I do that…..

Right now I’m struggling with either doing hills on Thursdays, or Spin…I think hill repeats will win….will spend tonight with lots of hydration figuring that out….

That’s gotta be the ugliest picture ever…yes, I am happy inside, but one eye fogged over, the glasses not really straight, and, should I have shaved?……oh well done…

And then into the gym…I hit everything, except for bicep curls, but bench, rows, lat pulldowns, leg press, leg curls, leg extensions, shoulder presses, tri pushdowns, calve raises…..I left everything on that gym floor…I am sore now….That SVAC/Sturgeon Valley Athletic Club is such a happy place….I’m grateful and thankful that they’re there and there so much support, so I’m there……as long as they’ll have me..
