It’s been an amazing week so far….
Today was good……I’m going to say great…
Even though I was still sore from Tuesday’s strength training, I decided if I’m going to do this, it’s got to add up to twice or 3 times a week…so today was twice……and it felt okay…
benches, rows, lat pulldowns, shoulders, good mornings….and then off to spin class..

After our Wednesday evening run club, this was a challenge……heavy heavy resistance, lots of higher RPMs…….it was a 45 minute challenge…but felt so great….our coach/instructor was amazing…Jacqui keeps us moving to the beat….I don’t know how she does it, but the tunes have the beats just right….as long as you hit those BPM, and have the tension set right, everything falls into place….
then, back to the weights…
I love this routine……it just fits naturally….so now to legs
leg pressed, deadlifts, leg curls, leg extentions and finish off with db curls, tri pushdowns and calve raises…then a shower and coffee…
I somehow managed to lose my jacket?….Not sure if someone took mine by mistake…but am kind of ticked off about that…
but then it was off for lunch an the restaurant next door…..cause you need that nutrition!!!….and hydration right

Then this evening…it was time for my virtual learn to run clinic…I tried to do something different with the Zoom meet and tried to use my phone..it didn’t work out well…I’ll have to figure out something else……I;d like to do these meets without being stuck close to WiFi……..especially once spring arrives…I want to be free…
My talk went a bit all over……types of running, the difference between sprinters and endurance athletes….we talked about how important strength is…..both muscular strength and muscular endurance…how important flexibility is for staying injury free….and then warming up with the A B and Cs…..I tried to demo that and a few post run stretches, which is also why I wanted to use the IPhone… I’ll try again next time….but I think I got my point across…
A good day….I guess this is what retirement is supposed to be like?
