This almost it……….next Tuesday will be the end of this chapter in my life….I’m not sure if it was the best decision in the world, but, I think it was time

9 years….it’s been 9 years. hard to believe…it wasn’t always easy, it wasn’t always fun, but way too often it was…

I lucked out with working with some amazing people…..yep, not always, hiring was an interesting adventure, but I did end up with an amazing crew……that’s when this became fun….

So today, this was good..and the way retirement was to be…woke up and then hit the gym for an hour work out in one place that has become my happy place..

An hour of leg presses, curls, extentions, benches, shoulders, rows, pulldowns, curls, extensions, calve raises….all good..

and it was nice because I didn’t have a deadline…no place I had to be…

I then spent 3 and a half hours selling shoes….stocking shelves, for the second last time….sad, but active, and all good.

Tonight, headed back to my club, SVAC…..joined with our Run Club for a good 6.73 K….a good pace, and pretty substantial hill, and fun…..and good run…and then lots of coffee…..

When I retired on February 3rd 2014……this was going to be it….working out at my hearts content, living life……and enjoying it…
